What is fatigue and why do so many women in the menopause experience exhaustion?
How can we overcome fatigue using breathwork, yoga exercises, meditation and mindfulness.
And can we embrace it for the wisdom it offers us to slow down, reflect and reasess our life style, habits and behaviours that push us into adrenal and hormonal fatigue?
This workshop is led by Petra Coveney - author and founder of Menopause Yoga - who will guide you though breathing exercises and yoga poses, mindfulness and other meditation techniques, designed to support rest - and reenergise.
There will be an interactive women's circle discussion, 90 minute yoga class, and general advice on nutrition, natural remedies and wholeistic welbeing - as well as information on Hormone Replacement Therapy from Dr Louyise Newson and the British Menopause Society.
* the conversations in the women's circle are confidential.
* the yoga and breathing exercises will be a combination of restorative, yin and hatha yoga whoich are specially adapted to meet the needs of women in the menopause. Please let your instructor, Petra, know beforehand if you have a physical injuries, a history of panic attacks or trauma-related health issues, so that she can modify the practiec for you.
