MY Workshop at Yoga West Studio LIVE & Online
Time & Location
About The Event
Learn how to manage some of your menopause symptoms using yoga, breathwork, mindfulness meditation and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy on this special 2-hour workshop for women.
The workshop is led by Petra Coveney – founder of Menopause Yoga – whose unique methods aim to educate women to feel empowered so that they can embrace the menopause as an opportunity for self growth.
During your workshop, there will be a Women’s Circle discussion followed by a 75 minute general Menopause Yoga practice aimed at alleviating hot flushes and anger surges, stress, fatigue and insomnia, and you’ll round off the day with some uplifting breathing techniques aimed at rejuvenating your energy.
Petra developed this style of yoga to manage her own menopause symptoms and now runs workshop and teacher training courses across the UK. She is a teacher trainer for the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance, a member of the British Menopause Society for health practitioners and works with Menopause specialist doctors in Harley Street, London, and the Midlands.
The event is only open to women who are going through a stage of menopause. Please wear clothing suitable for yoga stretching, a warm top, a bottle of water and a notebook and pen for writing.
