About The Event

Happy Menopause Awareness Month.

If you could not join us live onliune on October 18th, why not make a donation to The Menopause Charity, which provides free educational materials and trainings for the public. In return you will receive a recording of the 75 minute class.

All you need to do is click the booking link and choose how much you want to donate.

100% of all funds received will be donated by Petra/ Menopause Yoga to the charity.

Petra will then send you the recording to watch and enjoy until November 1st.

As you may know, the  International Menopause Society designated the theme this year as Cardiovascular Health, because this is the main cause of death over the age of 50.

Oestrogen is a hormone that helps keep your arteries clear to pump blood to your heart, and a decline in oestrogen may also affect the build up of fatty tissues around your arteries.

So today’s weekly Menopause Yoga live online class was focussed on Heart health. We looked at how yoga may help promote heart health through energising exercise, emotionally uplifting affirmations, stretches to aide deeper breathing/ inspiration, and to cultivate space for kindness and compassion. We completed the practice with  a restorative pose for reducing stress and promoting rest.

I hope you enjoyed this class.

PLEASE NOTE: Normally we did not include a full women’s circle discussion today because it was being recorded so we could not agree privacy and confidentiality, and 65 people booked the class.
