About The Event
Post Menopause is the rest of your life AFTER the 12 month cessation of your menstrual periods. This is when your fertility hormones are no longer required and - unless you are taking Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) - the loss of Oestrogen has a significant impact on your body, mind and emotions. This can cause symptoms ranging from:
- Low Mood & depression
- Low energy & Lethargy
- Slow metabolism and weight gain
- Sluggish digestion and food allergies
- loss of muscle mass
- loss of bone density
Women in post menopause are also at risk of:
- Osteoporosis brittle bones
- Cardio vascular disease
All of these symptoms are exaccerbated by stress. Menopause Yoga has been designed to significantly reduce stress, calm your nervous system, restore energy and mental focus - and help you to emotional navigate the changes in your body and life.
