About The Event

Join Petra Coveney - creator of Menopause Yoga the world's first menopause specific yoga practice and positive approach to the menopause.

This 3 hour morning workshop includes:

1. a women's circle discussion on menopause symptoms.

2. a short talk on how yoga, breathing and meditation techniques can help.

3. A 90 minute class that includes different techniques for managing anxiety, hot flushes, menorage, sore joints and muscles, overwhelm, insomnia, brain fog.

Petra Coveney is the creator  of Menopause Yoga (2013) and has been teaching women in the menopause for over 10 years and training teachers since 2019. She has worked with Dr Louise Newson at the Newson Health Menopause & Wellbeing Centre and Dr Shahzadi Harper in Harley Street,London.

She is the author of the training guide 'Menopause Yoga - a Holistic Guide to Supporting Women in Their Menopause Journey ' (Singing Dragon Books) whioch includes a foreword by Dr Newson, and and created the world's first Menopause specific yoga practice, and teacher training course. This 40-Hour course is acredited by the BWY and YAP and is now run online in partnership with
