muscles, bones, balance, proprioception, posture, energy, metabolism and emotional sense of self esteem. But they may feel unconfident about going to a gym to lift weights, uncomfortable or unsupported in a busy, loud, fast-paced fitness class.
Stress also impacts people in menopause and after with potentially higher levels of cortisol that affect sleep, balance and energy, weight gain as well as bone and muscle strength.
