Your teacher?

Petra is an internationally respected Senior Yoga therapist, teacher, Teacher Trainer for the British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Australia and Yoga professionals. She is a professional Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, and author of two books on Menopause Yoga, published by Singing Dragon Books.


Class Content:

During menopause and after, the decline in hormones oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone cause loss of bone density (osteopenia), loss of muscle mass (sarcopenia), loss of balance (proprioception), and you may experience low mood, interrupted sleep resulting in fatigue, and changes in your physical appearance and self confidence in your capability to exercise.
