Study into the Benefits of Yoga for Women in Menopause

Women who are in a stage of menopause are being invited to join a 2-month study looking at the benefits of yoga in managing common symptoms of peri to post menopause.
The study requires women aged 40-60 to attend a weekly Menopause Yoga class taught live online and keeping a menopause journal for the duration of the study.
The Menopause Yoga classes include specialist techniques for managing hot flushes, night sweats, Menorage and irritability, anxiety and overwhelm, fatigue and insomnia, low mood and lethargy as well as overcoming sleep issues caused by hormone fluctuations.
So, if you're a woman aged 40s-50s and are in a stage of menopause, please consider giving your time to help other women by joining this study. Please let your friends know about the study.
The results of the study will be anonymised (you won't be identified), but you will be requested to provide basic information and contact details at the start of the study.
The results of the study will be used to benefit other women going through menopause and inform yoga teachers so that they can better support you in future.
Some of the classes involve strength and stamina building exercises and breathing techniques, while others focus more on gentle movement and restorative poses.
Previous experience of practising yoga is not required but could be helpful. This study is not open to yoga teachers.
If you'd like to join the study you need to meet the following criteria:
a. a woman in a stage of menopause, aged 40-60
c. experiencing menopause symptoms
d. not a yoga teacher
e. can commit to the 2 month duration of the study, with one yoga class per week, and be able to practice techniques at home - minimum once a week.
f. able to write a journal every day listing food and drink consumption, and symptoms.
Classes will be taught every Wednesday in October & November.
Times: Wednesday's 1-2.15pm. (If there is high demand, there will also be the option for a Weds evening class).
